County Government Commissions New Roads in Rongo Sub-County
15 km of tarmac road commissioned in Rongo Sub-County, connecting farmers to markets.
The Migori County Government has commissioned 15 kilometres of newly tarmacked road in Rongo Sub-County, a milestone that will ease transportation and boost economic activity in the region.
The County Executive Committee Member for Infrastructure officially handed over the road during a colourful ceremony attended by area residents, business owners, and local leaders.
The road project, which cost Ksh 120 million, was completed ahead of schedule and directly connects three wards to the main market centre, cutting travel time by more than half.
