Migori County to Hold Interdenominational Prayer Meeting for Peace and Unity Migori, Kenya — The County Government of Migori has invited leaders, clergy, and residents to the Migori Interdenominational Prayer Meeting set for Tuesday, 26th May 2026, at Maranatha Grounds. In a letter dated 21st May 2026, Governor Hon. Dr. Ochilo G.M. Ayacko, EGH, called on County Executive Committee Members to attend the 8:30am gathering. The event aims to bring together people from different denominations to pray for peace, unity, development, and prosperity for Migori County and the nation. “The prayer meeting will bring together leaders, clergy and residents from different denominations to pray for peace, unity, development and prosperity for Migori County and the nation at large,” the invitation states. Governor Ayacko said the presence and participation of county officials would serve as encouragement to the faithful and residents of Migori County. The county government said it looks forward to a positive response and strong attendance at what it described as an important spiritual gathering.
