Responsible for construction, maintenance and development of county roads, transport infrastructure, public buildings and works in line with the functions and powers assigned by the Kenya Constitution to county governments.

1 Construct and tarmac priority county roads annually
2 Maintain all classified county roads to motorable standards
3 Develop and implement a county roads masterplan
4 Construct modern public markets, bus parks and public buildings
5 Promote road safety and reduce road accidents
6 Establish a road maintenance fund

Roads and Bridges

Plans, designs and supervises construction and maintenance of county roads, drainage systems and bridges.

Transport

Mr. Brian Atieno

Regulates county transport services, manages bus parks and coordinates road safety programmes.

Public Works

Eng. Susan Ochola

Oversees construction, renovation and maintenance of county government buildings and structures.

Mechanical Services

Eng. Kevin Ochieng

Manages the county plant and equipment pool, vehicle maintenance and mechanical workshop services.

Eng. Okwach is a registered engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya with over 20 years of experience in road construction and infrastructure development.
