County Bursary Awards Ceremony: 3,000 Students Benefit
Over 3,000 needy students received county bursary awards totalling Ksh 45 million this academic year.
More than 3,000 needy students from Migori County received bursary awards totalling Ksh 45 million during a ceremony held at the County Headquarters. The bursaries cover secondary school fees, university tuition, and TVET programmes.
The County Director of Education noted that the bursary programme has helped reduce school dropout rates by 30% over the past two years. Parents and guardians who were present expressed gratitude for the support.
